Architectural features:

Stark concrete frame and light-gray enamelled brick. Also,angling of the building adds depth and features.

This 5-wing building was influenced by the Modern Movement and the architecture of Mies Van Der Rohe, Walter Gropius, and the master plan of Illinois Institute of Technology.The Renewal Program updated the Buchanan Buildings to meet the LEED silver standard.
